Montreat College announced today that it has received a $100,000 grant from The Cannon Foundation towards the renovation of the college’s residence hall lobbies.
The lobbies of Anderson, Davis, Howerton, and McGregor residence halls are utilized by more than 80 percent of the students on Montreat College’s traditional campus. Renovations of these lobbies will include new flooring, light fixtures, restroom and kitchen fixtures, kitchen appliances, fresh paint, and more.
“We cannot thank The Cannon Foundation enough for their continuous support of Montreat College,” said Montreat College Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students, Daniel Bennett. “Continuing to keep our student residence halls up-to-date is vital. It is these kinds of grants that make it possible for us to do so.”
