Dr. Scott Foran

Dr. Scott Foran joined the Montreat College faculty in 2022. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Simpson College and a Master of Arts in English at California State University, Chico. At Pacifica Graduate Institute, he completed a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in Mythological Studies with an emphasis in Depth Psychology.  In addition to teaching courses in creative writing and literature, Dr. Foran also serves as the editor for the Flannery O’Connor Society newsletter.
